Thanks to our experience and fully equipped laboratories, we were able to assist in their development and production. It meets twice a&nbsp;year and discusses, among other things, proposals for adjustments to study programs so that they reflect the current needs of industrial practice. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We currently offer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fst.zcu.cz\/cs\/Admission\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">13 study programs<\/a>, which can be studied in full-time or part-time form. Starting in the 2026\/27 academic year, we will launch a&nbsp;new bachelor&#8217;s&nbsp;program in Environmental Engineering and Technology, which reflects current trends and Generation Z&#8217;s&nbsp;ideas about the world and its future.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Our teaching staff includes experts from the field. Important industrial partners with whom we collaborate in the areas of teaching, final theses, and student internships include \u0160koda JS, Doosan \u0160koda Power, KONPLAN, WITTE Automotive, AssaAbloy, and Daikin. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We support interdisciplinary activities. Twenty years ago, we established the DESING+ program, which promotes interfaculty cooperation among students at our university in the development of new conceptual solutions.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In 2009, we brought the Formula Student project to our university, which brings together students from four faculties into one <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/uwbformula\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">team<\/a>. They can put their knowledge into practice in the design and construction of a&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/uwbracing.cz\/vuz\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">racing monopost<\/a> of the rel=\"noopener\">The Children&#8217;s&nbsp;Technical University<\/a> is running for the ninth year at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and already has 560 young graduates. It is a&nbsp;place where elementary school children develop creativity and teamwork skills and discover the world of technology in a&nbsp;playful way. They can visit her in Pilsen and Klatovy.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"7\" class=\"wp-block-uagb-container uagb-block-7c205059 alignfull uagb-is-root-container\"><div class=\"uagb-container-inner-blocks-wrap\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-container uagb-block-210f5917\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\" style=\"text-transform:uppercase\">Regional Technology Institute (RTI)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>We are a&nbsp;modern research center at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. We conduct both basic and, above all, applied and experimental research in the fields of additive manufacturing, machine and equipment design, advanced materials, road and rail vehicles, machining technology and metrology, nuclear and sustainable energy sources.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>We develop new technologies and materials<\/strong>, look for new solutions and improve existing ones.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the field of research, we have participated in more than 130 national and international projects that have brought new technologies, modern approaches, and knowledge.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We have 120 employees, 7 research programs, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rti.zcu.cz\/cs\/Labs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">9 state-of-the-art laboratories and testing facilities<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We care about the quality of our work, which is why we have a&nbsp;metallography, metrology, and mechanical testing laboratory accredited according to the
