We are FEE UWB. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div id=\"0\" class=\"wp-block-uagb-container uagb-block-66db18c4 alignfull uagb-is-root-container\"><div class=\"uagb-container-inner-blocks-wrap\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How do we influence the city and the region?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"q-list\">\n<li>We educate future qualified professionals in electrical engineering and related fields and prepare them for careers in the national and international labour market.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fel.zcu.cz\/cs\/Partnership\/partners.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">We actively cooperate with major industry players<\/a> in the field of research, development and education to support the economic growth of the region.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We systematically support <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fel.zcu.cz\/cs\/Partnership\/partner_secondary_schools.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">partnership cooperation with secondary schools and grammar schools<\/a>, popularizing technical education and the importance of technical fields for society.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Where are we heading?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"q-list\">\n<li>We create study programmes to reflect the requirements of society and prepare our graduates for a&nbsp;future successful career and employment in the labour market or the implementation of their own ideas.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We advocate open and equal access to education and creative activity, with the aim of eliminating cultural, social and other barriers that prevent certain groups from increasing their educational attainment despite good study and research facilities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We are perceived as an integral part of the region, we work and participate in national and international projects, we are a&nbsp;sought-after partner of institutions of national and international importance, with whom we jointly carry out research with demonstrable impact on a&nbsp;significant impact on the city of Pilsen and the entire Pilsen Region<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Through the training of technical specialists, cooperation with local companies and the promotion of excellent science<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rice.zcu.cz\/cs\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Research and Innovation Centre for Electrical Engineering &#8211; R&amp;D<\/a> is the Faculty of Electrical Engineering&#8217;s&nbsp;own research centre and its integral part and research brand. We provide a&nbsp;complete research chain from basic (theoretical) research to the development of functional samples and prototypes and their complete testing. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We have unique research infrastructure, such as an indoor laboratory for high-voltage power electronics and transport technology for testing vehicles and equipment up to 31 kV and 4 MW. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For cooperation with key industrial partners, we offer the use of special laboratories for materials and technology research, including &#8220;clean rooms&#8221;, microscopy laboratories, EMC, X-ray diagnostics laboratories, acoustic laboratories and others. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Research and Innovation Centre for Electrical Engineering &#8211; In a&nbsp;playful and easy-to-understand way, we show that technology is neither complicated nor boring, thus encouraging interest in learning technology from an early age.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div id=\"2\" class=\"wp-block-uagb-container uagb-block-94352086 alignfull uagb-is-root-container\"><div class=\"uagb-container-inner-blocks-wrap\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-container uagb-block-2fb008cb\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><strong>History of FEE<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>1949 &#8211; Founding of the University of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering in Pilsen (V\u0160SE) as part of the Czech Technical University in Prague. Teaching takes place in the city centre. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1950 &#8211; The College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering in Pilsen becomes an independent faculty of the CTU.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1953 &#8211; V\u0160SE acquires the independent status of a&nbsp;university headed by a&nbsp;rector.
